Dick Pilling is known as the “accidental realtor” because he thought he was retired until he “accidentally” bought some land. (Don’t you just hate it when that happens?) And this land had problems! Aside from constructing roads, installing utilities, and the myriad of other chores involved with sub-dividing normal land, there were also wetland and other topographical issues to deal with. A real can of worms but, happily, nothing that couldn’t be overcome and, one by one, Dick commenced to tackle and solve these problems. About the time he had nearly completed the subdivision process, he suddenly realized that, while he was getting pretty smart about developing land, he knew next to nothing about selling land. So he hit the books and became a realtor. And successfully sold his land!! Moreover, he found that he enjoyed dealing in real estate so much that retirement could wait for a while longer. Maybe forever… So if you want to buy or sell land, with or without buildings on it, Dick has the knowledge to assist you every step of the way. And if he doesn’t know an answer to a question, you can bet he knows where to find it. Dick spent his entire adult life in overseas locations doing things nobody else wanted to do in places where nobody else wanted to go. He is/was an electronics specialist, a project manager, and a general troubleshooter. Late in life he obtained a master’s degree in Business Administration. He thinks he can do anything. And maybe he can… |
